The OSHA approved Bloodborne Pathogens program includes information that will help students understand what bloodborne pathogens are and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others. The program assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard. This is a great class for teachers, daycare providers, and general health practitioners. It is a modular course and can be added to CPR/AED or First Aid classes. It is NOT a Communicable Disease Class, and is not recognized as such by the State of Ohio. Bloodborne Pathogens is a 2 hour class and includes a 1 year certification card. $55 per person.

Community CPR/AED is a combined CPR and AED program designed specifically for laypeople. The program is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and is based upon the 2010 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Science with Treatment Recommendations (CoSTR) and other evidence-based treatment recommendation. Compression Only CPR is covered in this class. This class is good for: individuals who do not work in the healthcare field but are occupationally required to, or desire to, have CPR knowledge and skills, such as: emergency response teams in business and industry, school bus drivers, adult residential care personnel, child care workers, teachers, parents, babysitters or foster care. This class is approved by the State of Ohio for foster families and State employees.
